“ As someone who has sampled ice cream and gelato across five continents, from the silky gelati of Bologna to the inventive scoops of Melbourne, it’s rare that I find a place that genuinely stops me in my tracks. But Golosi di Gelato did exactly that. This shop doesn’t rely on gimmicks or flashy toppings. Instead, it offers true gelato craftsmanship, using honest, high-quality ingredients, beautifully balanced flavors, and the kind of attention to detail that separates the best from the rest. I had two scoops: Custard Cream and Biscotto Locus, and both were phenomenal. The Custard Cream was a creamy, nostalgic dream, like the heart of a perfect crème pâtissière, but chilled and silky. The Biscotto Locus had just the right crunch from biscuit pieces, with a comforting, warm flavor that felt like childhood in a cone. One detail that really stood out to me was how the gelato was packed all the way down to the bottom of the cone. No empty tip, no air pockets, just rich, smooth gelato from the first bite to the last. That kind of care and consistency is rare and speaks volumes about the pride they take in their work. The staff were warm and genuinely passionate about what they serve. They aren’t just scooping ice cream; they are delivering a crafted experience. “ We visited this gelato shop during our trip to Quirino d’Orcia and it instantly became one of our top three favorite gelato spots in all of Italy. The person who helped us was incredibly kind, which made the experience even sweeter. And the gelato, truly unforgettable. The kind of flavor you carry with you long after the trip ends. On top of that, it’s located in the middle of a picture-perfect little town straight out of a movie. The last thing we expected was to discover that one of their chocolate ingredients actually comes from our country Venezuela, such a beautiful and surprising connection. The desserts are as good as they look, well-balanced and not too sweet. All fillings are very nice, including cream cheese and pudding. Small tables are available outside. ”

Our party tried several flavors including milk chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate chip, strawberry, and raspberry. It was so good that we went back a second time to get a small cup of raspberry, it was mouthwateringly delicious and quenched our thirst.
